[00:00:00] Speaker A: Do you feel like there are two parts of you at war with each other?
As if there's this one part of you that wants to do all these wonderful things, to change your life in a positive way and do what's good for you? And there's another part that has other intentions, other ideas, and they're kind of both there at the same time. And this other side is actually causing sabotage, self sabotage.
So you know what you need to do, you know what you want to do in your half hearts, but there's all these other things happening.
If you've ever had that experience where you're like, why am I doing all this stuff I shouldn't be doing? And how come I can't do the stuff that I want to be doing?
Well, then you're in the right place, because that's what we're diving into in this episode. Welcome, welcome, welcome.
Hello, welcome, welcome.
[00:00:48] Speaker B: How are you doing?
[00:00:48] Speaker A: Yay. Doing great. Doing great.
So this is a. This is the eternal topic, isn't it, really?
This is the. The whole game right here. What do you feel is going on and what was your inspiration for this?
[00:01:06] Speaker B: I was thinking that every day we need to keep a log of our kingdom inside. Because what is the intention? I started with right?
Or five days ago I had an intention I would do this, this, this, this week.
And did I do those things or did I self sabotage somewhere? Right? So I start off strong. Yes, I'm going to do this, this. By noon comes around, it's all out the door.
And so to really look at the self and see if what I want to do is aligned with what I'm doing.
[00:01:51] Speaker A: Yeah, that's the whole game, isn't it? I've been. I created a course recently called reality design the 333 method, which is exactly on this topic, which is why I created it. Because we have our intentions. On one hand over here, I want to do all these things and then there's our actual life over here.
And learning means same situation, new behavior. That's what it means.
So if I say I've learned something and I want to do something, but I'm actually not doing anything differently at all, then.
Then I haven't learned anything, you know, because I think a lot of the time we think learning is having stuff on the show. I have a whole bunch of books here. I've got books over there, there's books everywhere. But only if I actually change my life practically, does it mean anything?
[00:02:46] Speaker B: You know, someone recently was telling me I was about someone else and they were saying, oh, but they love to go to different spiritual groups and they love to learn and they love to do this. They don't stick anywhere and they don't do anything. Right.
And so I was like, then that's
[00:03:04] Speaker A: not learning, it's entertainment. It's a spiritual circle.
[00:03:09] Speaker B: Yeah. It's like you're like having a buffet. You're like having a buffet.
Oh, let me sample this and let me sample this and let me sample this. And it's not like you're filling yourself in any way.
Right. It's like getting these little, little samplers, but never really filling the soul.
You know, in Costco, they have these. Have you ever been to Costco?
[00:03:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they have. They have them in Whole Foods as well. Yeah, they're little. Here's all these little things and would you want one of these?
[00:03:39] Speaker B: And I always try to stay away
[00:03:41] Speaker A: from all that stuff.
[00:03:43] Speaker B: Right. It's like getting those samplers and nothing sticks. Right. Like, there's no nourishment. There's not nothing stakes.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: No. So if we want to actually change ourselves in our life, that we have to learn what we're doing and actually change something practically. And I also want to thank you, Shereen, for showing up for the podcast. Even though you're not in the greatest of health, but you're still in excellent health. Anyway, Shireen's hardcore. I really appreciate Shireen's solid. The. The soul is 10,000 times stronger than the body. So you like, you're like, I'll do whatever I want, but it's like, hang on a minute. I need a little bit of rest here.
So, yeah, it's.
So what we're talking about today is, is that these kingdoms that we have inside of us and one kingdom is like our higher self, our. Our original dharma, you could call it the.
The greatest way of living, the way that's most aligned with ourselves, with others, with the universe.
The thing that's going to lead us to freedom and to abundance and success on. On the deepest level.
And then there's our current life, which has all kinds of other things going on, which mostly have come about because of being influenced by other people, basically. And other, you know, it could be people information, tick tock.
It could be all kinds of stuff. Right. And so. So there's all these influences which are actually very harmful. So if we act on those things, then it's going to be bad for us. And we have this other thing. But if you have any kingdom and this. This is applying to people, are Seeing this all around, if you have people with very, very different ideas in a physical place like America or any country or India or whatever, after a while there's conflict between the different tribes, different groups.
And you see it because of the violence that's happening in the world and has happened in the past and will happen. Because when you have conflicting ideas, there's no unity. And where there's no unity, then people fight with each other in various ways.
But we have an internal version of that as well where there is two parts of us want different things and they end up fighting and then we end up having an internal battle in our own mind and heart for the sovereignty of our life. You know, so just as in the world, it's sovereignty of the place, but in this, it's the sovereignty of our life and our body that's actually being fought for by. In these internal factions.
So that's what we're getting into today.
And I'll just read one quote and then you can share whatever you want. Shireen, we'll read this.
Look at your spiritual life. As to whether there is just one kingdom in your life or is there sometimes another kingdom too?
From one kingdom, there isn't another kingdom also ruling at the same time, is there, Is it the kingdom of. Of God's highest advice or is there sometimes suppression? I thought that's interesting word, suppression by Maya. So are we aligning with the highest choices or are we being suppressed?
By Maya, Maya means negative, seductive. Negative thoughts basically, and intentions.
And Maya is very seductive. So we can't tell that it's a problem. That's. That's why it's difficult to deal with.
So anyway, with all that said, what do you think, Shreem?
[00:07:39] Speaker B: I was thinking it's good to look at them as two countries, right? And pick two countries. Like pick a country that you really like.
Say New Zealand, right?
Lovely law and order, beautiful people, beautiful environment.
Wonderful, right, New Zealand.
And then let's pick another country which is like, like the worst of the worst, right? Like let's say a country that's GDP is very poor.
There's no law and order. Gangs are, you know, moving around, all of those things, right?
[00:08:17] Speaker A: Like Haiti or something like that.
[00:08:19] Speaker B: And so in.
In the soul, in the self, there are actually these two countries operating.
And the question we need to ask ourselves is which of those countries am I going to feed?
Which am I going to.
Which.
What am I going to do? Am I going to abide by the law and order of this wonderful country which is in the Soul and then. Or am I just going to go into lawlessness? You know, whatever takes me in the present moment, do whatever I want, you know, do whatever I want.
And am I going to do that in the other country? Right.
And so which one am I really, you could say, sustaining?
And so I was especially thinking about law and order, right. The country that is needs your attention is the law and order country.
And the law and order is. The law is really knowing what your highest, highest principles are and knowing what you want and living by knowing all of those things, right. Order would be living by them.
And so many of us actually know we have the law, we know what our highest principles are, we know what we need to do, but we don't have order. We don't live by what we really need to live by. Like we are not actually doing it.
And so these two different countries, right? You know, that's very famous story we
[00:10:11] Speaker A: have
[00:10:13] Speaker B: of the wolves, right. I'm afraid of the gray wolf, right. But I like the black wolf. Why are you afraid of the. So which wolf really will live? So the wolf that you feed will live.
So even in, even within ourselves, the country that I am paying attention to will thrive.
And so to really look at both the law, the virtues, the values we hold dear, and also the order,
[00:10:50] Speaker A: Right?
Yeah, well, so that's what do you want to do? And then is it actually happening in real life that that's how we know if we're living? And I suppose it's like you could say it's different countries or you could say it's like different establishments. Where are you going to spend your money in your time? In a way, because like wherever we like. If you. I could, I could go to this place and give my time, energy, money and whatever over here, or I could give it. You can't be in two places at once.
And whichever one is being fed the most is going to get bigger and bigger and bigger.
And we can see this, this is, you know, like, for example, many people say you vote with your wallet, you know, like, because if, if you spend money in the wrong place, they, these massive companies get bigger and bigger and if you don't spend the stuff, then they go bankrupt, you know, so it's, it's like all charities, you know, where are you going to give your.
Donate your time to?
But these are, we're not really actually talking about that physically. It's just an example. But in myself, well, my thoughts, what are my words? What are my actions? Where is my time going? What is that Building. What is that creating? If I was creating a world, what would that end up being like based on that? And what was it over here?
And the quote here is basically saying if there is, there aren't two kingdoms ruling at the same time, are there?
Because if there are, there we fail. You know, give a little bit over here and then a little bit over here and then a little bit over here and a little bit. And then there's conflict, which, which leads to chaos. And it also leads to having to think too much. Should I do this or should I not do this? What about this? It's much more complicated to actually to try and figure it out. If you have too many options, you have to think very, very hard about everything.
But if you know exactly what you're going to do and what you're not going to do, you actually don't think about it as much.
[00:13:00] Speaker B: You know, and many times I've noticed we have very good intentions. I'm not going to do whatever I said I would do, right?
And then noontime comes around, all our good intentions are out the door.
So I always feel, you know, Brahma Baba would do this at nighttime. Check his kingdom, check to see did everything in his kingdom, which would be his thoughts, words, actions, his saskaras, his habits, his mind, everything, did they behave.
And I feel that's such a useful thing, right? Even if they didn't behave, right? Like not to feel shame, oh, they didn't behave, but to just keep checking to see how did they behave. And the one thing I do all the time, and I feel this could be like the most important thing to do when you're checking your inner kingdom is I check.
But let's say I didn't do it.
Let's say I said I would do four hours of yoga and I didn't do four hours of yoga.
I go back in the night, I go back through the day and see myself doing four hours of meditation.
I just see myself differently. I don't see the failure part or what I did. I just go back and see myself doing the high level things. And I feel that exercise really eventually makes us do good things.
So to really like there's several very important things in your kingdom. One is to know the law, right? Know the law means what are your highest? What is your highest Dharma, as you were saying, right? What is the highest that is good for you is one.
And two is at the end of the day to see did you self sabotage?
Or how many times did you self sabotage? But to go back each Time you self sabotage to go back and see like you're really doing the highest things.
Like you're just visualizing you're doing the highest things. You keep doing this again and again, and eventually you will.
So it's very important to check though, right?
[00:15:30] Speaker A: Yeah. If you don't check that, you can't tell what's going on.
This is.
[00:15:35] Speaker B: And not to feel guilty about it, just to do it.
[00:15:38] Speaker A: Like, I am currently sending a little written thing of how much time I spend using AI to someone who's helped me hold me accountable, to not waste my time on the Internet, just to see how much time I'm using AI, Right? And just writing it down and sending a picture of it has reduced. Not. I mean, AI is not that much of a problem. But just. I'm just curious, like, because if I'm not looking at it, I don't know what I'm doing. Do you see what I mean? The same with any other kind of media or the same thing with food or with exercise or with medicine. Anything, Anything. You, you start to track the numbers, whether it's something you don't want to do or something you do want to do.
You start getting a better sense of what's going on just by writing it down.
[00:16:26] Speaker B: Right. And not to give up and not to feel guilty and you know, just keep doing it. Like check the kingdoms within the self. Right. The two kingdoms are, am I acting on my highest for my highest good or am I self sabotaging? That's bottom line, isn't it? Those are the two kingdoms. My highest good or self sabotage.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Yeah. And so in case anyone's like, haven't got a super clear Dharma, if you know exactly what you're supposed to be doing and you figured this out for yourself, it's easier to do what we're doing if you don't even know what that is at all.
And, and quite frankly, a lot of the time there's a huge amount of conflicting information around, especially around things like health and, and anything. Actually, nowadays it just depends how you talk to, doesn't it?
So the first thing is to figure out what is actually good for your. For you.
Right? Because that's a lifelong study by itself to just really get clear about what that is.
And it comes down to like, what are the. What are the thoughts that provide happiness and joy and success and peace right. In your life and in yourself and in others?
What are the. What are the things to what to say or to speak or to share that benefit people?
And what are the Actions that lead to health, wealth and happiness and success. And we need to know what that is. Right. And by take checking ourselves, we can fairly quickly figure out what makes us happy and what is wrecking our life, you know?
[00:18:03] Speaker B: Right. Like sustainable happiness. No, like not just in the moment.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. Otherwise we'd all just be chocolate and drug addicts.
But which the chocolate only goes so far, unfortunately.
So. Yeah. What is in the long run, is this making you a better person? Feel better?
Raise your level of consciousness, Be of service? Is it supporting your well being, your health, your wealth, your happiness and everyone else? That, that, that is a sign that you're living your dharma.
If what we're doing is causing us terrible sorrow and wrecking our life and hurting other people and damaging our well being on various levels, then it's not our dharma to be doing that.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: Yeah, Self sabotage.
You know how much ever we feel that someone else is messing our life up?
Because I always hear this, right? Especially from married people. Oh, they didn't let me do this. And I. They didn't do this. But more than anyone else, I feel we self sabotage.
Whoever you're blaming. Right? They're not letting me do it. It's actually self sabotage.
[00:19:24] Speaker A: Yeah. If. If someone's in a relationship and they're not allowed to do things that they want to do, then that's their choice to be in that relationship, isn't it? Or to continue it the way it is. It's much easier.
[00:19:37] Speaker B: No, but no. No one is going to.
Yeah, it's much easier. But no. Let's just talk about this. Right?
It's 100% self sabotage all the time.
So let's say someone says no, it's not self sabotage. My husband doesn't let me do something, or my spouse or my partner doesn't let me do something. Right.
I feel that if you really affirm on what you want, no one can stop you.
[00:20:13] Speaker A: Exactly. If you really want.
[00:20:14] Speaker B: I mean, let's not go into the extreme of why are you in that relationship. Right. We don't. That's not our problem. But be firm in what you want in life and no one can stop you. They will come around eventually.
But because you don't want to do it, you're in two minds about this. You don't want to do it, then you blame other people for it. But it's 100% self sabotage.
[00:20:40] Speaker A: Yeah. If we have to upgrade our life or our environment or whatever it is, then we just have to get on with it, you know, and see what happens.
But it comes back to like, is this the highest good? And a lot of the time in various situations or families, everyone's doing something that's harmful for them. And so if, if one person decides to change, everyone else doesn't like it initially, but then after a while it turns out that everyone else is better off for it.
You know, like I give an example with food. My mother started practicing meditation. She started. She became vegetarian, right? And weren't vegetarian before then.
And she just said, I'll just make my own vegetarian food, you know, and everyone else can have whatever they want.
And.
But then I remember looking at her food and I like, that looks much better than this other stuff. Like, can you make me what you're having? You know, that's what I thought, you know, and because I was like, probably like 14 or something.
And she's like, okay, sure. And then after a while, everyone was like, let's just have what she's making, it's way better. And maybe she made really terrible food for us. I don't know. I don't know if that was conscious, but we were like, maybe her heart
[00:21:57] Speaker B: wasn't in it, right?
[00:21:58] Speaker A: Yeah, it wasn't it. No, but. But eventually everyone just became vegetarian and that was it. But I think it took about a year or something like that. But it. Everyone came around and everyone was happier for it, really.
So that's an example in a family situation. Same thing with the Internet stuff. I mean, this is harder because everyone started to crack heads to that stuff.
Anytime I tell people, just turn the thing off. Like at the. Oh, no, my God, it's not possible. How could you turn this?
I'm like, all right, fine. Okay, fine. But yes, but you have to think, what is it that's good? If you do something that's good for you, how hard?
[00:22:42] Speaker B: You know, let's go back to turning the Internet off, right? I mean, I feel that is a little extreme because what if your work depends on it?
What if your work depends on being online?
Oh, not at 9:00 in the evening. No, you know, for us, really, because our day starts very early. Turning off the Internet is just such a pain because our day starts very early. Our classes start at five, right?
And so I have to go think about it. Now I'm meditating and now I have to think, oh, let me go switch on everything.
[00:23:21] Speaker A: Like, I don't know, there are these things called timers.
[00:23:24] Speaker B: Like, I don't have time for this.
But they not use it, right? Like, just not use it. Like, who's Using data so very well.
[00:23:34] Speaker A: We're gonna do a whole session on how bad the Internet is. But these are basic things. You have a timer and it just goes off and it goes on. You know, you don't think, you don't think about it all.
But.
But these, these are the practical considerations.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: No, I feel like some meditation. Some things though. Right. Some things I'm not. If you real.
[00:23:54] Speaker A: This is what I personally do. It's. No one else has to do it if they don't.
[00:23:57] Speaker B: No.
[00:23:58] Speaker A: This is an example.
[00:23:59] Speaker B: Okay. I feel like the Internet is like a little extreme, but you might not agree with it, which is fine.
[00:24:07] Speaker A: How can you possibly get away from the Internet?
[00:24:10] Speaker B: Just the point of why switch it on, switch it off, just stop using it as far as I'm concerned. But anyway, right. One thing for sure is let's say you're living in an environment where you're living with a lot of other people and you don't have control over certain things.
Right. You still have control over your life. That's what I'm saying. You still have control over your life and anything you feel you don't have control over and you're still doing things that are not good for you is just self sabotage. It's good to look at it that way.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: Exactly. Other people might be say, drinking out wine or whatever every night. Doesn't mean you have to have it as well.
[00:24:51] Speaker B: Exactly. You can always say no food, you
[00:24:54] Speaker A: know, or whatever it is. Right. There's all kinds of situations. But the. What we're getting at here is there are these two kingdoms. There currently are two kingdoms. And whichever one is the biggest is going to basically take over our life.
And to be at peace with ourselves, we have to have one kingdom.
That, that's the key thing. There's. We only do what's good for us. So there's none of this other stuff going on causing all the conflict.
So the end result of a deep spiritual path is there's just one kingdom left over.
Otherwise we're just dealing with continuous conflict. Should I do this? I want to do this, but I shouldn't. It's bad for me. Or I don't want to do this thing that I should do that's good for me.
That's a conflicted life. And I think that leads to addictions and scrolling and all these things because it's like I can't be bothered with this, with all the conflict. Let me just quickly check this one little thing real quick.
Not think about it, you know, so it's A very, very. What we're talking about is a very, very deep thing to have one kingdom within ourselves where we're doing what's in our highest good the whole time and we're not going off and causing ourselves all these problems and then having to think about it afterwards.
[00:26:20] Speaker B: One of the things I want to repeat is even if you haven't done right, you started off your day strong and then by noon self sabotage started.
Documented.
Documented. There are two things really, I cannot stress enough without guilt. Neutrally, you should document. Look at yourself as a witness and do it neutrally. Okay, this happened, this happened, this happened. Fine. And then you go back and see yourself doing things for your highest good.
That's really important, Michael, because if you don't document or if you don't go back and see yourself doing the right things, you'll never really do it.
[00:27:11] Speaker A: That's right, yeah. And it's important to document it in a radically honest, non judgmental way because there's no point lying to ourselves about anything really. So I intended to do this today.
This is what actually happened.
There's another way you can do this. A slightly different thing is actually at the beginning of the day, I did this for a while actually where I was. I'd get a piece of paper, I'd draw a line down the middle and I'd say, what is it that I would like that's the highest good for me to be doing today? Right.
And I'd write down what it was and then I'd write down, what does this other part of me want to do today?
Right. Because. Because realistically some of those other things are going to happen, probably happen anyway. Right. I actually wrote down what my so called dark side wants to do all day long. So one part of me wants to do, get the work done, do the meditation, do all the exercise and everything else. The other side doesn't want to do any of that stuff and wants to do all these other things. You know, just sit around, not worry about it, you know, just be lazy.
Right. So there, there are. I remember finding that actually be lazy
[00:28:17] Speaker B: only for so long. All right.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: You know, just to write it all down and say, what's all this other stuff that's out? Because normally there's a combination of these two lists and just getting it on paper, what is all this other stuff? Is actually quite fascinating.
[00:28:31] Speaker B: Absolutely.
And the other Law and order, Right. In any country kingdom there has to be both law and order.
Law would be what is for my highest good is order is. Am I following what is for my highest good.
And what I've noticed with these two things is actually what is for your highest good will give you happiness.
There's a false belief that is operating in the soul that thinks that, oh, if I do this and this, I will be happy. But actually not.
You just feel numb and empty after the, after a while, just keep doing that.
Let's say I think, oh, if I get a massage today, I'll feel great.
But I get the same massage tomorrow, it's not going to be great. Or the same massage the day after, it's not going to be great because there's only like so much you can get out of a massage, right?
So actually to understand your long term happiness also is very important.
If we don't understand our long term happiness, then we don't know, don't know ourselves, right?
We keep operating under these false beliefs.
So let's say I want to get up and just be lazy, right? Not do anything, not meditate, not do anything, just be lazy.
I can get something out of being lazy only for so long.
After a while I'll start feeling empty and miserable. And so it's so important to know yourself.
What is going to give you long term happiness? That is the law in your kingdom. Then just follow the law because that's what's going to give you happiness.
[00:30:36] Speaker A: That's, that's the whole point of figuring this stuff out is you end up healthy, wealthy and happy in the long run.
And there's.
I was talking about this. There's parallel lives. This is a great book by the way. Anyone who likes to read fiction books. It's called the Midnight Library. And reason I'm mentioning this is because this book is about parallel lives, right?
That what would happen if you made a different decision in your life? What would happen if you just really went for something and canceled everything else that you're doing? You know, because we all have like different things we're interested in.
What would be the consequence of doing one thing over another, right? Because and, and oftentimes we have regrets. I wish I'd done more of that or I wish I'd done less of that or whatever it is, right?
It's an interesting book because it talks about what does that actually look like in real life. It's fascinating read, but we're dealing with this all the time. We're making decisions about what we're doing and we have to figure out what is the thing or the things that are going to lead us where we want to go in life. And actually make us happy and be most meaningful so we don't have regrets later on looking back. And it's not immediate, obvious what all that is actually. Especially if you haven't got a deep spiritual path and you haven't got clear teachings on what you should be doing, you know, because this is why religions and spiritual paths can be helpful, because this little kind of lays it out. But even then, you've got to figure some of these things out for yourself in, in the context of your life.
So what are those things? Do you even know what it is? This is the first question. Do you do know what the law, so called law, or the highest good or the, the beneficial things are? What are they?
And then are you actually doing them?
Because if we don't know what it is, then what it means is we are going to be living out the law of some other people somewhere who've come up with stuff. And a lot of this can just be from media, actually.
If, if you watch lots of TV shows and read books and this and that.
Behind everything that is being consumed is a code of ethics and a way of living which gets absorbed into the soul. And then we live on the basis of that without realizing it. You know, that's why people start doing different things and talking differently. This is why in countries that get television from like America, they end up more westernized. They start dressing differently and talking differently and eating differently because they see it on tv. Oh, that looks interesting.
So it has an effect on us, right? Everything has an effect on us. If we don't know what our dharma is really and truly, we're just going to be living the dharma of whatever it is that we're seeing around us.
So, yes, very important to know what it is and then to make a note of it and just, and then just be honest. Was I happy?
You know, were you happy? What's the consequence of whatever it is you're doing?
And you might be surprised, you know, what, what is the actual effect of things? And not just that day either, because we might feel good one day, but a week later we're a total train wreck, you know, So I mean, so it's like it's not.
What we do in one day isn't going to give us enough information to know whether it's good for us or not. Actually, we need a bit of a longer term thing.
So law and order, law is to be a carefree emperor. You have no worries because you have all attainments.
So look at your life as to whether there is just one kingdom in your life or is there sometimes another kingdom from one kingdom? There isn't another kingdom ruling at the same time. Is there, is it that there's the kingdom of God's advice or is there sometimes suppression from negativity?
[00:34:49] Speaker B: If you really think about it, in everyone.
Both exist.
Everyone.
Why are some people doing better than others?
Because they are sustaining the right kingdom.
[00:35:06] Speaker A: That's right. And it's also worth keeping in mind that we do things based on our needs. So whatever we need, that's what we do. We have needs internally and we do. And, and the two wolf story is which wolf do you feed? But they're trying to get our needs met.
So if I need, if I want to relax, like we have a need to feel relaxed and at peace. There's one way of getting that need met in a healthy way and there's another way of getting that need better in a way that's going to be very harmful.
We all need to be connect with people. There's one way of getting that in a healthy way and one way in an unhealthy way. And so it's, it's not that we're ignoring our needs. We're saying how can I get the needs that I actually have in a way that is, feels good and isn't going to screw up my life and it's going to lead me to, to what I want. Right.
Because that is why we do everything. We're trying to get our needs met. We're trying to live according to something that's coming from within us and is it serving us or is it harming us? That's the, what the two kingdoms really represent.
So think about it, think about it. These are very, very deep things.
And shree, anything else you want to share?
[00:36:17] Speaker B: I was thinking about the two wolves and I remember you telling me something recently about the two wolves. What were you telling me?
[00:36:29] Speaker A: Oh well, I just shared that with the two wolves. Normally people say there's a bad wolf trying to ruin your life and a good wolf is good for you.
But actually both wolves are trying to get our needs met.
[00:36:43] Speaker B: It's just one is instant gratification. Let's do it however, you know.
[00:36:49] Speaker A: Yeah, like for example, like we all need to eat, right.
But one wolf is going to give us all the junky healthy sort of fake health food, junk food, quick fix stuff that there's massive amounts of it everywhere and the other one is going to give us proper food that actually is good for our digestion and our well being and eat the right amount of it.
You know, one wolf's like, just eat the right amount of the right food and you'll feel great and you'll have good health and you'll digest it well and you'll feel healthy. The other wolf's like, yeah, but look at all this. Look at all this stuff you could be having here.
So. And unfortunately, the. The bad wolf has a lot more stuff.
The bad wolf has. Has enormous, enormous reservoir, you know, like this. There's. The amount of.
Of options from the bad wolf side is just, just ridiculous, whereas the good wolf has a much, much smaller range of things.
So we have to decide to do what's good for us, even though there's. There's endless stuff and it's got. I mean, the world we live in is so over the top, really, if you think about it. Every single possible bad thing we can get in massive amounts anytime you want, especially in America. It's just completely over the top.
It's just. It's a. It's hilarious how bad it's got actually.
You know, every single vice has a million ways of getting it, getting it in massive doses all day long.
So it takes a lot of self awareness to do what's good for us in this time and of the world.
[00:38:36] Speaker B: And the other thing I liked when you were reading from the court is about suppression, Maya. Suppressing us. Right? We think, let's take laziness, right? We think, oh, laziness is so wonderful. I can sit here, do whatever I want. But it's actually a suppression. It's actually oppressive.
After a while you notice how oppressive that is because it's just making you do things way beyond what you really want to do.
Like out of the range.
[00:39:14] Speaker A: Yeah. How do you feel later on is the.
Is the real way to tell, you know, it's in the moment. Oh, I'm so happy doing this random thing.
But then do we feel, what am I doing with my life afterwards? It's. It's a fascinating time to be alive because there are so many distractions and actually figuring out what's good for us and being honest about how we feel about things long enough to know what the truth is does require a lot of self reflection.
And because everything is so chaotic, it's hard to even know what's going on, you know?
All right, I just want to pick another one.
[00:40:01] Speaker B: No, 25 it is.
[00:40:04] Speaker A: All right.
[00:40:06] Speaker B: This is God's blessing for you.
Decisiveness.
You have mastered the art of viewing situations with clarity and understanding.
This emotional detachment is sparked and awareness leading you down the right path. No matter the challenges.
Your stillness and composure fuel your wisdom.
[00:40:38] Speaker A: Well. There it is.
[00:40:41] Speaker B: Decisiveness.
[00:40:45] Speaker A: Feed the good wolf.
Feed the good kingdom.
Yay. Talk to you soon. Lots of love. Many, many blessings.
