[00:00:02] Welcome to this guided meditation journey to do what you need to do with ease.
[00:00:13] To start, let's take a few beautiful breaths.
[00:00:19] And as you breathe in, just fill up the lungs. Nice deep breath and let it go. Release and relax.
[00:00:34] And again, just breathing slowly and gently, feeling more and more settled and calm with each breath.
[00:01:04] And as you breathe, just notice how naturally the breath just moves in and out.
[00:01:27] And as you breathe, just open your awareness to some fascinating realities about life.
[00:01:45] In our life, there are some things that we need to do, we want to do things that will change our lives.
[00:02:00] But there is some resistance, some conflict in doing those things.
[00:02:14] You can imagine something that you like to do that you're having a hard time doing.
[00:02:30] Maybe it's exercise or a project or having a hard conversation with someone eating differently.
[00:02:44] Just breathe into that awareness of whatever that is.
[00:03:07] And now imagine that you have done the thing that you want to do, how good you will feel after it's done.
[00:03:20] Imagine that you could just wave your magic wand and snap your fingers and you achieve the success you want instantly.
[00:03:30] How would you feel?
[00:03:41] Just notice the feeling of success. Notice how you feel the difference between how you felt at the beginning and how you feel afterwards. Just notice the difference. Notice where you feel it in your body, this feeling of success.
[00:04:06] Again, imagine doing the thing that you want to do and then feeling wonderful afterwards, feeling stronger, feeling more successful, healthier, happier.
[00:04:33] And as you feel that, notice where you feel the good feeling of success in your body.
[00:04:45] And give it a name or a word or a phrase.
[00:04:54] It could be success or it is done or thank you, or. Yes, just think of a word that sums up that feeling of success that you have after you've achieved and done the thing you want to do.
[00:05:18] And just think that word over and over, getting stronger and stronger. That feeling intensifies, that wonderful feeling, gets stronger. As you think that word and imagine that success, feel it in your body.
[00:05:35] You can smile, you can feel wonderful.
[00:06:11] And if you like, you can even ground it into your body by putting two of your fingers together, like your thumb and one of your fingers to anchor it in or touching your. Your body in some way to anchor it into the physical body.
[00:06:26] You think the word you feel the feeling can put your fingers together. This is called an anchor that connects the feeling and the word all together. So that when you repeat this later on, you come back to that wonderful feeling instantly, quickly touch your forehead, you could make a fist, put your hand on your heart, whatever you feel good about.
[00:07:19] And so as you breathe. Now let's Just strengthen and intensify this wonderful feeling that you've done the thing you want to do. You're feeling absolutely wonderful. Such good feelings. You have a word that's going round and round with meaning, with passion in your mind. Gently, powerfully, you can connect that to the body.
[00:07:59] And now let's just let go. Just relax completely. Relax. Just let go and take a few deep breaths. Just noticing the breath and letting everything go.
[00:08:24] A few more gentle breaths, letting this new anchor, this new consciousness settle into your subconscious mind.
[00:08:52] And now let's connect that good feeling to the thought of doing the thing at the beginning.
[00:09:04] So normally, when we think of doing something, we don't want to do it because it's hard, difficult.
[00:09:11] Do we have other things to do? What we're going to do is bring that good feeling, that anchor, that word, and superimpose that on top of the beginning part of whatever you're wanting to do.
[00:09:30] So, for example, if someone wants to do exercise, they would take the feeling of success and strength of the exercise, take that whole feeling and imagine putting that at the beginning. So when they think of doing exercise, that good feeling comes into their consciousness.
[00:09:50] So instead of there being resistance to seems to be inspiring, fascinating, interesting, empowering, and then it's much easier to move in that direction and do the exercise.
[00:10:10] So what I'd like you to do now is to come back to that word, Come back to that feeling. Let that go round and round around in your heart, in your mind and your body, getting stronger, wonderful feeling, good feelings.
[00:10:37] And then take that whole energy and imagine the beginning part of what you're doing.
[00:10:44] Put it right at the beginning. So whenever you think of doing that thing, see yourself doing it, and put that feeling at the beginning, that wonderful feeling.
[00:10:56] So you can't wait to go and do it. You can't wait to experience this connecting the end with the beginning and just see yourself doing it. Think those words, think those thoughts, feel those feelings as you imagine beginning the practice, it's.
[00:11:51] And smile into that, enjoy that feeling and relax.
[00:11:59] Let go.
[00:12:08] And now imagine doing the thing that you want to do. And notice how it's different now, how it feels more interesting, more inspiring, more energizing.
[00:12:32] Congratulations.
[00:12:34] You can do this again and again with this particular thing that you want to do and with everything else in your life. And the more you practice this, what will happen is that you will start to want to do the things that are hard, that are good for you because you've connected the end result, the feeling of success, the feeling of satisfaction, with the beginning of the action.
[00:13:03] And the more you do this, the deeper it goes in.
[00:13:08] And then the more you take action and do those things, you get more satisfaction, more success. And it is a positive spiral of success and more success and more ease. And you can apply this same method to different areas of your life.
[00:13:30] Congratulations.
[00:13:32] Have fun.
[00:13:34] Well done for rewiring your brain.
[00:13:40] Many, many blessings.
[00:13:42] Talk to you soon.
