[00:00:00] Speaker A: What if everything you believe about not enough is a lie? What if there's massive abundance all around you, but you might just not be able to see it? Right now in this session, we're going to be diving into getting out of scarcity and coming into wealth and abundance consciousness. Because when we are in a scarcity mindset, our body tenses up, our mind becomes stressed, we can't think properly, we can't do things properly. We, we kind of hoard things, we get freaked out. And what that does is it limits our ability to see all the abundance around us and also do things that will create abundance in our life physically and also spiritually. So we're going to be sharing about how you can come into a higher state of consciousness, how you can feel wealthy right now, no matter what's going on, and how you can bring that energy into your life. So welcome, welcome. [00:01:02] Speaker B: Hello, Michael. [00:01:04] Speaker A: Hello, Shireen. How are you doing? [00:01:06] Speaker B: I'm doing great. Fabulous. [00:01:09] Speaker A: Are you feeling rich? [00:01:12] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, why not? I have everything I need. [00:01:18] Speaker A: Yes, you do. You have more than enough. Don't you have a number of levels? Yay. So this is, it's a big topic, scarcity and abundance. Because we live in a world where of course there are some people financially who have massive amounts of wealth, you know, billions and billions. And there's other people who are just right on the edge. So there's a financial thing going on there. And then of course, scarcity isn't just in money, it's also in relationships with not feeling like we're getting enough love or enough care or scarcity of opportunities. So this is basically an issue that we can either be in lack consciousness or abundance consciousness. [00:02:06] Speaker B: You know, before we start about scarcity, I do want to acknowledge that they might be people who really don't, might not have enough. Right? They might not have enough to eat, might not have a roof over their head, might not have enough financial, enough finances to pay the bills and all of that. Those kinds of problems actually do need concrete solutions. You need to do something about it. But abundance or scarcity thinking is actually when we have a roof over our head, it doesn't matter what the roof looks like. It's not like, oh, I have just a one bedroom roof and now I need a 10 bedroom roof, not that. So we have a roof over our head. We have enough to eat, we have enough to pay our bills. Then comes the scarcity thinking. Right. I've heard there was a study in New York about who like people who had more than $100 million or something. They did a survey and many of them felt they didn't have enough, that they didn't make enough. Many of them felt that they didn't have enough. They didn't make enough. Because in New York, right, people who are really wealthy are really, you know, like the actual billionaires are there in New York. And so the disconnect between maybe if I have just $10 million versus someone who has $1 billion, there's a huge difference. And so the comparison is there. And they really feel they did, they didn't make enough. [00:03:50] Speaker A: Yeah. And I've heard story of a group of billionaires and the one person asked the group, who here needs more money? And all hands went up, right? Because so it's like it never ends. It literally never ends, does it? So we can feel we're always lacking, right. At any level, right. So even if you, if someone's listening to this and you are completely like without money and nowhere to live and homeless and everything, this can still help you, by the way, what we're talking about to figure out your next step. But if you have wealth and abundance to some degree, but you're still feeling lack, then this is really going to help you get out of that so that you can feel wealth and fullness in yourself. [00:04:40] Speaker B: You know, I went through a period in my life where I used to go constantly feel the slack. I don't have enough time, I don't have enough money. And I was working then and I had enough money, but I used to feel that way. I don't have, you know, I always used to feel like this, right? This adage, a day late, a dollar short. Always like that. My mindset was like that, I'm always a day late, I'm always a dollar short. And at some point I really had to sit down and change it. I had to change the way. And what motivated me to change, the thing that motivated me to change was I did not like the prison I was putting myself in. The prison of anxiety, the prison of think like that, the prison of stress, the prison of comparison. I didn't like that. I really wanted freedom. And I can tell you it is so free, so freeing not to be in that scarcity mindset. And that is the main reason I feel we need to get out of it, to just experience actual freedom. [00:06:00] Speaker A: Yeah. It's not just so we have more and more stuff, because that, as we've talked about, doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be happy and feel wealthy. But the, there's a, there's a feeling of wealth, abundance, gratitude, contentment, satisfaction. Like that's an inner feeling where we feel really, really, really good and we're like, ah, yes, I'm so blessed. I'm so blessed. That's wealth consciousness, where you feel wealthy in yourself. I mean, I, I felt, I wouldn't say I've always felt wealthy. I've definitely had moments and, and times and periods of time where I've been in lack and stress and scarcity and it'd been very unpleasant. And my, that's awful. I mean, it just feels terrible, doesn't it? If you think about just the feeling of it, you become smaller, you kind of shrink down. You can worry about things. When I've been in that state, like I'm acting erratically, I'm, I'm not, don't have any. I'm like, where, where can I get? So it's a very kind of needy, negative, disturbed state. And it just doesn't feel good. And it also doesn't lead to success. [00:07:15] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:07:16] Speaker A: It actually causes more of the same problem. So the state itself is responsible for more scarcity. You can either say, I need to get money first and then I'll feel better or I need to get the thing first. Or we can say, how can I feel better in myself? [00:07:34] Speaker B: Right. The feel better in ourselves is within my control. [00:07:39] Speaker A: That's right. [00:07:40] Speaker B: Many times the other things are not. There was a study done in India with farmers and they specifically studied scarcity thinking. So they studied a group of farmers before harvest where they felt money was scarce, they didn't have enough. And then after the harvest, where they felt they had enough, they had some money. Right. They showed that on average farmers had 13 points less IQ before when they were in scarcity thinking than after 13 points less. So imagine how much we are sabotaging ourselves by being in that state of consciousness. Not just the stress, not just the anxiety, but even your IQ is less. Right. And we make bad decisions. We make bad decisions in terms of, you know, hoarding resources or thinking that I'm going to buy something because I'm not going to have it. But maybe, you know, like we are not allocating resources, you know, properly, so we are really sabotaging ourselves there. And also, many times I've noticed with people who have scarcity thinking can only get into relationships as transactions. Right. The relationships are very transactional. You know, what can I get out of this relationship? Because that's their mindset. [00:09:18] Speaker A: Yeah. And the, the problem with that kind of mindset of what can I get what can I get is that. That doesn't lead to wealth, does it? Because on a spiritual level, we have to give to receive. Giving. Like, like, because I teach business a lot, right? And one of the, one of the classic things in business, which is a weird paradox if you think about it, is that if you want to receive money from someone else, you can't just get their money from them because that would be stealing their money, right? That you can't just rob a bank and steal people's money. So if you want someone to give you money, you have to give them something of sufficient value that they're happy to give you money, right? So you can't get money. You can only give value. Do you see what it means? And so scarcity thinking is all about what can I get? But the way to abundance is about what can I give? And that's the fundamental difference. So people who are living abundance consciousness are thinking, I've already, I'm already okay, and how can I serve? How can I give? What can I do to give? Even like giving love and blessings. If, if I think, why are people not liking me? Why am I not getting whatever it is? When, when are they going to start telling me that they like me? That's, that's, that's gonna. [00:10:45] Speaker B: Cause maybe never. [00:10:47] Speaker A: Oh my God, why doesn't anyone like me? But, but if I'm like, I love everybody. Love and blessings. May everyone be happy, may everyone be joyful, may everything go great. That kind of feeling is gonna actually lead to people liking you. Right? Because if you're the good vibe person and everyone you see, you give them love and blessings, people will be happy to see you, they want to talk to you. So abundance consciousness is about giving, giving, giving, giving from a, from within yourself. [00:11:21] Speaker B: Right? Right. You know, recently we had, in our lessons in the Murali, there was this blessing where the urge, the encouragement was to keep whatever treasures you have. Keep, keep the door open. Right? Keep it open. And it was interesting because the analogy was given that if you don't keep the door open, thieves will come. So I was thinking like in physical treasures, right? If I keep the door open in the center at random times, then there's likelihood of people coming in and stealing because you're keeping the door open. But in terms of abundance thinking or scarcity thinking, it's the opposite is true. You have to keep the door open. You have to keep giving. You have to keep giving of yourself. Then thieves won't come. Thieves here would be Maya or our illusion or anxiety and stress and whatever else that comes. Right. So that happens by keeping the door closed. [00:12:37] Speaker A: Yeah. It's interesting, isn't it? Normally in physical things, like if I have, say, this, this cup, right, and I give it to somebody, then I don't have it anymore because it's gone. And, and money, same thing. You give money and it's. You don't have it and anything's like that. But when it comes to, I mean, in money, you can actually give money and get money back. But that's, it's. That's a different topic. [00:13:00] Speaker B: But yeah, I was thinking, I mean, on a meta scale, no, money just never runs out. I mean, personally, if I give money, of course I'll feel I won't have enough. But on, on the larger scale, it's not like that. Right? [00:13:15] Speaker A: Yeah, there's always more money around to come back. But just physically speaking, like, if I have a certain number of pens and I give them to everybody, then my number of pens goes down. But. And so normally people are worried about giving because they're going to run out, but in when it comes to giving love and blessings and, and giving knowledge and helping people and giving all these good vibrations, that actually increases what we have. I always find this very interesting. Like, normally you get less when you give, but in this case it gets more like, even like I've been studying about, like Instagram and social media stuff because it's something that I've avoided, frankly, for years and years. But what I've. Just to give an example, I was looking at something on my phone just now and. And this woman was saying that she posted one video, like one video one week, and she got like one follower. And then she did like three videos. And then. And she kept going. Basically, the more she did, in other words, the more she gave. So she's spending her time doing something. She started getting twenty thousand, fifty thousand, hundred thousand, and then she started making like a hundred grand a month, Jeremy, because of all these followers. But it came because she was giving. If she hadn't bothered to post any of those videos, nothing would have happened. Now that's like a physical thing, but we're talking about energetically, but also like, in terms of what are we doing to help other people. So if we want to get out of scarcity, we have to turn it around and say, instead of what can I get, what can I give, what can I give, what can I give? How much value can I add? And how can I add more and more and more value for. For days and days and weeks and Months and years. Because that ends up becoming huge amounts of return wealth that you end up getting. [00:15:05] Speaker B: You know, not just about resources, right? Like let's take even time and we could do some like let's say with regards to time, we could do some abundance rituals. Like I have abundance, right? For example, people who complain about I don't have time, I don't have time, I don't have time. This is for them, right? I don't have time to do anything, I don't have time. We all have time. We all have 24 hours. So we all have time. And so what I've noticed is if you take time, let's say, and do a meditation practice in the morning, you take time to actually go for a walk without any listening to a podcast, listening to any social media, listening to anything, you just go for a walk, right? You are creating what you say you don't have. You are creating rituals around that by giving yourself that time, by giving yourself 20 minutes in the morning for meditation, by giving yourself time for a walk, by giving yourself just being very quiet at night. And I've noticed that actually your time expands because this is not even you're giving someone else, you're giving yourself this and your time expands and you don't feel this sense of oh, I don't have time, I don't have time, I don't have time. Because your time just expands and it is like it is a phenomena. That is so unusual, right? The thing that you complain about is the one that you have to give and that's the thing that you will get back in abundance. [00:16:50] Speaker A: That's very interesting. That's very interesting. And it's also with money been studies on this, if you give 10 of your income to charity, statistically you end up with more wealth. So a lot of people, they give to charity just because they know they're going to end up with more money afterwards. Which is, which is fair enough really. It's like a win, win situation. But isn't that interesting? Like if you're misery with time or money or, or anything, it just dwindles down and just finishes. But if you give, give, give, give, give in the right way, then you, it continues to expand, right? [00:17:31] Speaker B: One of the things I was thinking also is there's a very high cost of scarcity. Thinking very high cost is one is like the reduced iq. So we make bad decisions in that thinking, right? And it's almost like we are closing in, right? Instead of having an expansive view of life, we are kind of making it A very tunnel visioned view of life, right? That's one thing that's happening. And because of that thing, we make wrong decisions about finances because we are in scarcity thinking and we make, you know, there is the shoe problem, right? I don't know if I think it's just a anecdote. I don't think it's a research about the shoe problem. So let's say someone has one needs a real, needs shoes, right? They go to work and shoes are very important to them. They need shoes. So let's say they take out money and they spend hundred dollars on shoes, right? And then there is another one who scarcity thinking. They both make the same amount of money. The other one is scarcity thinking, I don't have enough money, I don' have enough. Who has money to spend $100 on shoes. Let me just buy a pair of $10 shoes, right? And so what ends up happening is the $10 shoes will wear out much faster. So you have to buy another $10 pair of shoes and then another pair of $10 shoes. And this $100 shoes might last you for, you know, 10 years. While in that time you could have possibly spent 150, $200 on shoes. The person who, who got the shoes for cheaper, right? So this one actually in the long run spent only hundred dollars and this one spent, let's say $150 on shoes. [00:19:37] Speaker A: And so I think it's a real thing. It's a real, that's a real issue, right? So I'm not sure they're saying. And yeah, it's a real thing. [00:19:44] Speaker B: And so what happens is we, if you didn't come into scarcity thinking before buying the shoes, you really think this through, which I always tell everyone, my team here, we shouldn't ever get the cheapest thing. I'm not saying we get the most expensive thing. It has to be good quality. Because time and time and time again I've noticed you end up spending more if it's bad quality. [00:20:09] Speaker A: Yeah, I totally agree. I feel the same way, right? [00:20:12] Speaker B: And so, but that's the buying cheap, right? You need shoes. Buying cheap really comes from the scarcity thinking. You have to go into it thinking, I will have enough. Let me buy a good quality pair of shoes, I will have enough. You have to, there has to be so those kinds of mistakes we make in scarcity thinking because that is one of the high costs of scarcity thinking. You make a lot of mistakes. It affects your health, right? The stress and the anxiety and all of that. It's affecting your health and then it's affecting your relationships. Because in scarcity thinking, you're going into every relationship thinking, what can I get out of this? Right? Or any relationship. And everyone, they are smart, intelligent people. You cannot underestimate anyone. Everyone I meet are smart, intelligent people. If you go into it thinking, what can I get out of this person? They will run, like, even if they are your wife or whatever, right? The love and all of that, the wife or husband or whatever, the love and all of that around it is gone. And all because I'm sitting here in scarcity thinking. And so there's a very high cost to this. And mine really, mine was I wanted the freedom from whatever I was feeling. I wanted the freedom. And that is the highest cost, I think, the freedom from thinking that way. The freedom from putting myself in a prison where I'm so anxious about this. And I'm so in comparison, I'm like, when will I be happy if I keep doing this? When is this? When? Right? And so it's very important to understand the cost. It's not just, oh, yeah, it's nice thing to do. The cost is very high. What are you paying for the way you're thinking? [00:22:07] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a huge cost. It, It's a cost spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, relationships. And your environment, like all levels of your life will be sabotaged because, like, even our physical environment won't be as good as it could be. Like, because you could buy, let's say buy some flowers and put them outside and have some plants and stuff, which will make the whole place nicer looking. But if someone's like, oh my God, I should never buy anything, then they live in this kind of like limited junkie sort of thing where. And like you were saying, and then it breaks and you have to get another one, and it breaks and you get another one. And then if we're surrounded with stuff like that because we're being cheap, then that has an effect on our mind. I mean, it affects every single level of our life basically, doesn't it? [00:22:55] Speaker B: You know, and so I feel that there is the thinking itself, right? Fear. Fear of not having enough or fear of comparison? Like, comparison. Fear of not having enough. All of these things are happening. And so there's a reason for it. Then there's a high cost for this, right? And so one of the things we need to understand is that if at any time I'm thinking this way, I don't have enough time, I don't have enough money, and Sometimes I feel also this programming that has happened, right, could be from childhood. Like if you grow up around parents who say, there's not enough, there's never enough, there's never enough. Or money doesn't grow on trees or whatever it is, right? Like a version of that, you'll keep listening to your parents, then you tend to end up taking it on, right? And so these default programming that is going on needs to be eliminated because it's default and it's ruining our lives. And so to really sit very quietly and see, am I in scarcity thinking at any point, Am I in scarcity thinking with relationships, with money, with resources, with time? You know, because many people who tell me they don't have time, I always find them scrolling on their phone. [00:24:24] Speaker A: You say, give me your phone and let's see your screen time numbers on this. [00:24:28] Speaker B: Exactly. I want to see how much. [00:24:32] Speaker A: Yeah, like it's, oh, four hours on Instagram, three hours on Tick Tock, right? [00:24:40] Speaker B: That's what. And. But it's. So we always can make time because we have 24 hours. Yeah, we can make time, right? We can make time. And so even if it's half an hour, we can make time. So to really see, where am I, whether it's time or relationships or money or any of my other talents, am I hoarding? Am I holding on? Am I feeling comparison? Am I feeling like there's never enough? Am I feeling like that? Right? And to really do something about it, you know, like one thing is to have a meditation practice that really gets you out of scarcity thinking. And the other thing that really gets you out of scarcity thinking is radical gratitude. Radical gratitude. Whatever it is, you should be grateful I'm breathing. Yay. Grateful. [00:25:36] Speaker A: Yes. Come back. If we compare ourselves to others, then it's scarcity, right? Because human beings have a tendency to compare against other human beings. But if you compared yourself, for example, to a slug, right, or, or a cockroach, you'd realize how rich you are. Do you know? I mean, so it's like what the comparison we do either makes us feel wealthy or makes us feel very, very poor. And one of the things I think is extremely important about scarcity and how to get rid of it is to understand that ultimately, like, if you just think about it for yourself, right? Any scarcity that you have, think about, what do you, what do you think? What are you lacking? Right? I'll give an example of money, right? Because I've had issues with money in the past. [00:26:26] Speaker B: Really, I've never had issues with money. [00:26:29] Speaker A: Just never had issues. No one's ever had any issues. Everyone's multi millionaire nowadays, aren't they? But even then they're still like, oh, it's not enough. [00:26:36] Speaker B: No, no, I'm just kidding. [00:26:38] Speaker A: Yeah. I actually know people who. It just, it like it doesn't matter what scale you're at, there's always more and people always feel lack. But anyway, so let's say there is a sense of lack of, of money, right? And it's causing stress. Like, let's say you can pay your bills and everything's basically okay, but you feel a bit lack, right? Which is quite common for many people. What are you actually worried about really? Like, if you sit, this is worth just taking the time, get a pen and paper and just think, okay, here's what I'm feeling lack about. And you write it down and then you ask, what. Why am I actually worried about this? Like, what's the worst case scenario? I was talking to someone recently who was feeling slack, right? And, and, and she said to me, I'm. I'm anxious because the stock market's been going up and down. And, and I just said, look, let's go to the worst case, worst possible case scenario that could ever happen to you. Just so at least you face it directly, right? And she realized that the worst, worst, worst case scenario wasn't actually that bad at all. And because she hadn't thought about it, it's like this hidden fear and we're not looking at it directly, right? And because it's hidden, it's kind of comes up and starts wrecking our life without us realizing it. But if you look at it directly, you can face it and you can be okay with it. And ultimately the thing that, like, let's say money, so I haven't got enough money, then I can't pay my bills. If I can't pay my bills and I get kicked out of my house or, you know, I lose the house. And, and then if, and then I can't eat anything. And so I'm homeless and hungry and then I'm starving and then I die in a ditch. Like, like, I mean, like that's. So you're like, okay, so what you're really worried about is dying. [00:28:33] Speaker B: Dying in a ditch of starvation. [00:28:36] Speaker A: Yeah. And you. So then you can ask. [00:28:37] Speaker B: A little extreme, but yes. [00:28:39] Speaker A: Is it. But do you. Show me, you think, is it actually likely that you're gonna die in a ditch of starvation? I mean, it could happen, but it's very unlikely, right? So if you Face it, like, what's the worst case scenario? Then you stop being so afraid of it. But on a spiritual level, let's say you did die in a ditch, right? Like, that's the worst possible thing. Die in the ditch, feeling terrible. Right. From a spiritual point of view, this is why we do this podcast. We can't die because we're spiritual beings. Right. So when you realize this is what helps me personally, if I feel any lack, the thing that gets me out of it very quickly is I realize I am a spiritual being and I can't die and there's no end to my existence. And this whole thing is just a fascinating game. It's like I'm like playing a video game. Right? [00:29:37] Speaker B: Right. [00:29:38] Speaker A: This body is part of the video game. When we. When, yes, an avatar. When. So when I realized, this isn't me, this is a game, I'm playing a game right now, and I'm always playing a game. And if something happens to this body, there's another game after that coming for me, and it. I don't have to worry about. I guess play a new game then. Then I come into massive wealth consciousness. Because it's like, it's fun. It's like, it doesn't matter, right? You can spend money, buy this thing, do this thing, go here, check this thing out, try stuff out, because it's like, there's no end. So ultimately, the, the real way to get out of scarcity is to realize that you're an eternal being. There's no end. There's no end. And you're playing a game. You're playing a game, right? And, and the game you can create abundance in, but you can also, you also have abundance to start with in yourself. So you are abundance because the soul is an embodiment of peace, love, bliss, happiness, joy, purity, power, and abundance. And so you are wealthy anyway, and you're playing a game and you're safe. All right? So when you come into that consciousness, that feeling, then this scarcity disappears, and then you can actually think at an abundance level, and then you can play the game and transform your situation. [00:31:07] Speaker B: Yeah. So what happens? Right, Michael, this, what you're sharing is very important because if you're playing the game at that level, right, where you're in abundance and your spiritual being, all of that, there's clarity. Like deep, deep clarity, right? And from that place of clarity, you make the right decisions. It's not like, oh, all of a sudden, if you're playing it, if you're doing that, then you get money and Money falls out of the sky. No, money doesn't fall out of the sky. You just make the right decisions. [00:31:44] Speaker A: Yeah, you can think clearly because you're not. Lack consciousness totally messes up our capacity to think. But wealth consciousness is like, okay, what are all my options? What are all the opportunities? What are all these different things? And you kind of open up to this massive abundance of opportunities and then you think, okay, let's do that. And then, because you're doing it with the right energy and you're giving, then it comes back. And another thing, I just. Yesterday I was driving, I was off in the mountains going for a walk. And when I was driving back, it was like the sun was coming. It was beautiful time of day. And all of a sudden this massive cat, like a big cat, ran straight across the street right in front of the car. And it must have been a mountain lion. It was huge, like his huge cat. It wasn't like a little kitty cat, it was a massive cat. And I was like, whoa. Because it just came out of nowhere and disappeared. And I was thinking, I don't hardly ever see mountain lions, right? So here we are in this world and there's all these creatures everywhere. Somehow managing, isn't it? And we're in the desert, right? I'm like, how do they drink here? Like, I saw coyotes. Like, where are they getting their water from? Right? They're just wandering around. There's nothing around. But you've got coyotes, you've got deer, you've got mountain lions, you've got all these different rabbits and. And everything. And they're all getting on with it. And it like the whole world is full of like millions of different creatures and people. And then the ocean is full of. What is it, 90 of the of the world's mammals are underneath in the. So there's just like massive, massive amounts of stuff happening and everyone's somehow managing. And I was just in the garden and there are these aphids on my rose bushes, which I'm not very happy about. But then these little birds came along, the tiny little birds, and they were eating the aphids off the roses, which I was very pleased about. Do you know me? So this is like a micro economy. [00:33:54] Speaker B: I don't know what that means, but what's. What's on the roses? [00:33:59] Speaker A: They're tiny little green insects called aphids. And what they do is they kind of eat the rose buds and they kind of harm the rose bush. They're these tiny little insects and sometimes there's hundreds of them. I don't know how they get there. So you can put ladybirds, if you get ladybirds in the post, they can go there and eat them all up and then they leave. But these little, tiny little birds came and they knew that they were there and they were eating all the aphids off the leaves, these little insects. So the, the point I'm making with all this is that if you look around you in the world, there's all this abundance everywhere and all these animals that can't think like us, they're figuring it out. Do you know what I mean? Like, they haven't got a bank account, they haven't got a house, right? They're not as smart as people are, and yet they're getting on with it. So do you know what I mean? Whereas we're extremely powerful beings and we can think properly and we've got all these systems and tools. So why we shouldn't really be having a problem with this, you know? [00:35:04] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, one of the reasons I feel is culturally, right? Culturally, what is going on in the, in the greed that's happening in the world, right? Everyone is being affected by this greed because it's like the, you know, one person is greedy, then the other person gets greedy, the other person gets greedy. And you think because of the greed in the world, because of everything that's happening, that there's. It's a zero sum game, right, that, you know, if whatever it is, except time is, you have only have 24 hours, but let's take money is. Oh, you think they have. If they have money, then I won't have money, right? And so whatever money is their money, it should be my money or whatever. It's like because of greed, you're thinking these thoughts, right? And so. And I really think that it's a societal pressure is happening on the souls, on the psyche of the souls. So societal pressure is happening to think in a certain way, but to really not give into it. Because that is not wisdom. Wisdom is really when you give, you get. So if the whole. There is. You know, I think there was. Someone was telling me recently about this joke. I think they were from Turkey or they were saying about Turkey. Anyway, we were in a car with a lot of people, people from everywhere, and they were sharing this joke when I was in India about if you. A certain nationality, I don't know which nationality, it was like if you put the nationality in a pit, right? And if one person is able to go leave the pit, right, and the other people in the pit will Try to pull them down, right? They won't allow them to leave. And so we feel like that is what everyone is trying to make each other because of greed is, you know, if they leave, then I lose, right? So we have to think everyone is going to win. If I give, if I come into this abundance mindset, everyone is going to win and I shouldn't give in to this. Like, there is a zeitgeist about greed. I think before whatever vice was dominating in the world before. Right, right now, in after Covid, especially now, the vice that is really dominating the world is greed. It's the most dominant vice in the world. And because of that, there is this scarcity prison that we are putting ourselves in. And because we are putting ourselves in scarcity prison, we are making decisions that are not good for the planet, that's not good for the community, that's not good for our family, and that's not good for us because we think a certain way, right? There are certain laws that govern societies and people can't go against those laws and think, oh, I'm going to be the only one who's going to win here because everyone else has told me that out of 100 people, only one person is going to win and I'll be the one, right? It doesn't work that way. That we have to understand that there's a larger collective and there's a larger intelligence and we have to work for everyone. If you give into what everyone else is doing and we give into the greed that everyone else is having, then we lose. [00:39:14] Speaker A: Yeah. Amen. Yeah, it's, it's definitely going on, isn't it? The lack, greed. I want, I need. And you know, and you see it all the time on the Internet. You know, I made this amount of money and you should too. And you know, it's like people clamoring after and all these advertisements. So it's all like you're lacking and you, you need all this stuff and you should have all these things, otherwise something wrong with you, right? You know, and this is constantly bombarded that you're not good enough and you need more and you need more and you need more. [00:39:47] Speaker B: And this comparison, right, like you were telling, telling about this girl who made hundred thousand dollars a month on Instagram. Now every girl will want to go on Instagram and think, oh no, I need to make a hundred thousand dollars. And let's say they make a thousand dollars and then they'll start comparing, why am I making only a thousand dollars and not $100,000? And then it's before you know it, you're miserable. [00:40:10] Speaker A: Exactly. So someone might be making 10 grand a month, but then because they're not making 200,000, they feel absolutely like it's the end of the world. Oh my. Just failing so badly. So terrible. So it's. So it's important. Like one of the key things is to have upward comparison always makes you miserable. Basically. You can be inspired by people and say, I am inspired. That's different. Right. But if you're comparing and feeling bad, it just causes pain. Downward comparison is better, actually. And the best downward comparison is to compare yourself to zero. So if you imagine that you have absolutely nothing and you didn't even exist, right? Like you cease to exist and there's no soul and then you become a soul. Not this possible. But you just. Here you are and you have all the things you have. You'd be amazed how rich you are just by being alive. Oh my God, look at all this. It's incredible, right? You're playing a game. But if, if. So if we go downwards up to where we are, we're extremely rich. But if we go from where we are thinking we need all this, then immediately we feel poor, even though we're very wealthy. So this is like. We have to overcome this psychology, psychological madness. [00:41:27] Speaker B: It is madness. Right. And it is madness. And the other madness is to think that if I stick it to someone and if someone else wins, I lose all those kinds of things. Right. Is total madness. Total madness. We'll be destroying each other. That's just not the way to live. There is enough for everyone. There is enough for everyone. Everyone can benefit. And when the other person benefits, I benefit. [00:42:01] Speaker A: Yeah. It's. Is it. So you're basically. It's either win, win, lose, win, lose, lose, or win, lose. Right. Situations. And. And so people who think I'll win and I don't care if anyone else loses, that's not going to work in the long run because if someone loses, they're going to retaliate and it's a problem for everyone else. So. So when you're in abundance consciousness, you're very firmly aware that I am. How can I win while I'm helping others win? And how can I get as many wins in a row as I can? This is what I try and think of whenever I'm doing something. Am I winning? Because if I'm not winning, I shouldn't be doing it. That's. That's the first win. Because if we don't win, everything else is canceled. So if you're winning first, that's great. How can someone else win and get benefit? How can another person or a different group of people benefit? And you keep stacking up as many wins as you can get in a nice long line. And the longer the line, the more likely you're going to be in massive wealth. [00:43:01] Speaker B: Before we end, I want to talk about this radical gratitude, right? If you feel like you're getting into scarcity thinking, it really works for me, right? So let's say I have a pain in my lower abdomen somewhere here, I'm really hurting. Instead of focusing on, oh, it's hurting, it's hurting, it's hurting, I start thinking of all of the other giving gratitude to all the other organs that are actually working. Oh, my pancreas are working so well, my lungs are working so well, my stomach is working so well, you know, and then I look at the stomach, I look at the pancreas, I look at everything, visualize, and I just send it love and blessings and love and blessings and love and blessings and minimize the pain that's happening there, right? And it really works. So this radical gratitude really works to really give gratitude, give thanks for everything you have and to find new things. New things. That is this thing of the lower abdomen pain, right? Happened to me recently and I did this, right? I sat down and did this. No, I'm not going to focus on that. I'm going to minimize that, minimize thinking about it. And so when I had gratitude for everything else, right then I was able to be very quiet and calm and realize what was causing that pain and fix it. Otherwise it just never ending. Oh, I don't know. Maybe I need to go to the doctor. Maybe I need to do this, maybe I need to do that. It would have gone on forever and ever and ever. And so radical gratitude, like pick two, three things, like things that you don't normally think of. Oh, how wonderful the cells are working, you know, how wonderful my toes are working, my knees are working, whatever it is, right? Yeah, it's. Oh, how wonderful photosynthesis is happening in the plants and I'm able to be here. You know, the other day I was looking at this reading about how the sun really operates, you know, like how the explorer. Yes, the fission, the fission in the fission of the fusion. Fusion. I think fusion in the sun really works, right? And I was thinking, whoa, all of that is happening for my benefit. All of that is abundance. [00:45:43] Speaker A: And to. [00:45:43] Speaker B: Be grateful for all of that. [00:45:45] Speaker A: There's this massive fiery nuclear explosion happening billions and Billions of times far away. That's keeping us all alive. Aren't we lucky? It was charging away full power. Yeah, no, we're so blessed. Like anything, you know, you say, oh, I have a pen. You know, hooray. It's great. Like we, so we want to. But the way to feel gratitude, to really feel it, is to imagine you don't have anything and then you get it back again. That's what I find is because one, the problem is that once, like if I've got this pen, I'm like, I already have the pen, so I don't think that it counts anymore because it's here. But if I imagine I don't have anything and then all of a sudden I get a pen, I'm like, oh, wow, look at this, this is great. So come back to zero and then realize how many things are already working for you in your life. And as you come into that wealth consciousness and give, give, give to others, then you will receive. And first and foremost, you'll feel better. And we can feel better just by giving blessings to everyone else. May everyone be happy, May everyone be joyful. So wealth, wealth, wealth, wealth and more wealth. Congratulations. [00:47:09] Speaker B: Blessing for everyone. [00:47:11] Speaker A: Yes. [00:47:12] Speaker B: I picked a random page and it says enthusiasm. Your heart has made its home in an awe inspiring place. The beautiful qualities of those around you are magnified by your actions. Your zeal, born out of love and appreciation for life, has become a source of motivation for others. [00:47:46] Speaker A: Yeah, that's wealth right there, isn't it? Yay. [00:47:52] Speaker B: Thank you, Michael. [00:47:53] Speaker A: Well, thank you Shireen, for all your abundance and blessings. Shereen is an embodiment of wealth. Shereen is living in a situation where she doesn't work and yet and she gives all the time, she doesn't ask for anything and she is in a wonderful abundance. Isn't that interesting? Like physically, that's. You are demonstrating something that most people would think is completely impossible. So. [00:48:28] Speaker B: Thanks to the Supreme. Really? [00:48:30] Speaker A: That's true. That's true. All thanks be to the One. So, yes, have a beautiful day, lots of love. [00:48:37] Speaker B: Thank you everyone. [00:48:39] Speaker A: Talk to you soon.
