Show Notes

Why does your mind keep talking, analysing, replaying conversations, imagining what could go wrong, and searching for answers even when you desperately want to switch off?

Sometimes the problem isn't that you think too much — it's that you've never learned how to step out of the constant conversation happening inside your mind.

In this episode of Spiritual Sense, we explore why the mind can become so relentless, what may be underneath overthinking and mental noise, and how you can begin creating space between yourself and your thoughts.

You don't have to believe every thought that enters your mind. You don't have to solve everything right now. And you don't have to fight your mind to find peace.

Sometimes, peace begins when you simply stop engaging with every thought.

In this episode:
• Why your mind keeps searching for answers
• The connection between overthinking and inner unrest
• Why trying to control every thought can make things worse
• How awareness can create distance from mental noise
• Learning to be present instead of constantly analysing
• Finding stillness when your mind won't slow down

[00:00:00] Speaker A: Have you ever noticed your mind solving the same problem for the thousandth time? Going round and round over the same thing over and over again? You know you don't want to do it, you know there's no point thinking it, but it still keeps coming back. Maybe it's an old pattern and you know there's no point. You know it doesn't get anywhere, and yet it returns. Maybe you've tried all sorts of practices to stop the thoughts, to. To get over it, to get over the patterns, and yet it keeps coming back. Keeps coming back, keeps coming back. Well, if that sounds like you, then that's what this episode's all about. We all have some version of this going on, and we're going to get to the bottom of why that's happening and how you can completely reprogram the mind so it doesn't keep doing those things over and over again. Welcome to this beautiful episode on mastering those patterns. So, Shireen, tell us, why is it that this keeps happening, These. These repetitive thought processes, and how is that harmful to us? [00:01:14] Speaker B: You know what I've noticed about the mind, like I was mentioning to you in a previous episode that I'm really working with the mind, my mind, these days, really taking a good look at it, seeing what's going on with it. And what I've noticed is a thought pattern is like this. So let's say there's a forest, and one day you walked a certain path in the forest, right? You took the brush out, you cleared the path, you walked a certain path. And then the next day you walk that path again. And the third day, you walk that path again. Fourth day, you walk that path again. Let's say that path, you. Your mind has walked that path, let's say, for hundreds of years, a particular path. There's a very deep groove now created where that's how the mind works. So give me an example where you're. Give me an example in your own life where you're repeatedly thinking about something, a problem. [00:02:39] Speaker A: Well, I haven't got any problems, so, I mean, let me think about a problem that comes again and again. The biggest problem I seem to have again and again is how to manage all the work that I need to do. [00:02:58] Speaker B: Okay, so manage all the work that you need to do. And so let's say in the past, you've had this problem, and there's a particular path you took, right? And so this particular pattern that you're having of how you're dealing with too much work, how the mind is dealing with too Much work to do is not just from now. It's not just from this life. It's a pattern that's come over for many, many lives, right? Every time you have too much work to do, that path fires. And that path is so deeply ingrained that we like. It's a groove that has embedded in the mind, in the soul, that we don't know how else to deal with it, right? And many times that embedded path, right? That imprint on the mind, that sanskara on the mind, that is not good for us, that's not the best way to deal with the problem. But that's the only way I seem to be dealing with the problem. Because that's the way the mind has done for thousands of years. And now we have to look at it and redo it, right? Re give a path, right? Liberation in life. Path. Let's call it the path of liberation in life, right? The mind has to be liberated in life while doing things, the soul has to be liberated in life. And so let's say this is the path, right? The groove that went on for thousands of years. Now we are saying now we. No, no, no. It has to go this way, right? And so let's say on top, we depict God and it has to go this way to God, because this way is going nowhere except nonsense. It has to go this way to God, right? And this is the path of liberation in life. And to be able to do that path of liberation in life, it requires very different things of us. And because this is automatic, [00:05:16] Speaker A: it does seem to be automatic, doesn't it? It just kicks in and off it goes. It's click, you know, like run, you know, click whir. Like you press a play button and it plays the tape. You know, it's just immediate reaction. You know, this trigger happens here and then it just goes in that direction and it triggers again and it. And if the trigger goes away, then we might think like we've solved the problem. But then the trigger comes back and it does exactly the same thing, you know, so. So getting rid of the triggers is important. I mean, if someone has a serious like alcohol addiction or something, they don't want to be triggered by alcohol constantly because that's going to make it harder. But ultimately we need a radical change in our personality and our thoughts and our processes to get over this stuff, right? [00:06:10] Speaker B: Yeah, we really need to work with the mind. You know, lately I really been working with the mind because I'm noticing some patterns that are a real problem, right? And they're not a problem from this life. They're a problem from so many centuries. It just fires that way. There's good news, right? There is research. There's actually a lot of research. [00:06:33] Speaker A: There's research. Oh, there's research again, is there? Isn't that nice? [00:06:38] Speaker B: There's a lot of research on neuroplasticity and research on neuroplasticity. The simplest way, right? I love the way they say this. Research on neuroplastic disease says that adult brains are perfectly capable of rewiring, right? It doesn't have to be the same groove. We think, oh, that's the way I think. And that's the way it is. No, we are perfectly capable of rewiring what they say is neurons that fire together, wire together. And so what that means is that if you do a practice, if you repeat a practice repeatedly, right? A mind practice repeatedly, which baba supreme soul in our Murlis have been saying that forever and ever, you can change your saskaras, you can change your saskaras. And so you can change because that's what science is also agreeing is you can, you can rewire. Adult brains are perfectly capable of rewiring this pattern. But you have to shine a light on the pattern first. [00:07:48] Speaker A: You have to be willing to want to do it as well, isn't it? You have to be willing to feel awkward. I think, like we've all heard many of these things about, you know, what fires together, wires together and changing patterns, changing habits. And there's books about it, there's courses about it. But I think what people don't talk about enough is the fact that it is inherently uncomfortable to deal with that in between phase where like, I might want to have these thoughts and do these things, but I currently do these things, right? And this thing here wants to just keep going at it again and again and again and again and again and again. [00:08:32] Speaker B: Because it's so comfortable. No, it's been doing that for centuries. [00:08:36] Speaker A: We don't have to think about it. It's. It's like this. It seems like the natural way to do things. And if I'd say I'm going to stop doing that, there is quite a level of discomfort that comes around in that. It depends how long it's been there and how hard it is to get over it. But that's why normally we might try for a certain amount of time to change something. And then at a certain point we say, I can't handle this anymore. I don't like it. I'm not trying to be lazy. I'm Just saying, like, this is. This is why normally people give up on this. [00:09:11] Speaker B: No, but you're right, though, Michael. You're right. There actually two levels of discomfort. There are two levels of discomfort. One level is internally. You feel just. The new pattern itself is very uncomfortable. [00:09:29] Speaker A: Yeah, the new thing doesn't feel good right away, does it? Like, it doesn't have any immediate. [00:09:33] Speaker B: Yeah, it doesn't feel good. [00:09:34] Speaker A: This one does feel good. [00:09:35] Speaker B: The immediate results. Yes. And it doesn't feel good. And the other level of discomfort is that there's almost a grieving for your old pattern. Right. You're grieving, not thinking that. And that feels very uncomfortable too. And so let's say today I say, no worries, I'll never have any worry again, right? And the next time I start worrying, I tell myself, okay, next time I start worrying, I'll do a drill, right? And I start doing the drill. Right. Doing the drill itself is uncomfortable. And the second thing that's uncomfortable is letting go of the worry itself is uncomfortable. So on both sides there's discomfort. [00:10:25] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. And then. And the problem with that is that on a deeper kind of subconscious level, we associate discomfort with means. It's bad and wrong. And it's a bad sign because typically something that we move towards pleasure, we move away from pain. Like, if it's cold, we want to go towards the warmth, and if it's hot, we want to get into the cool and on, you know, so, like, if I'm in a situation with someone and it feels really weird, I'm like, I don't know about this, you know? So we're tuning into energies all the time. And so when we try and do these different. Changing our habit practices, we're having to go against our inherent desire for comfort and feel good things because we have to stay with discomfort. And it might be discomfort for possibly weeks. Actually. It's not necessarily years or months, but it is certainly not just one day. It's certainly not just one hour. If we don't address this, people will go, oh, that's wonderful. I like the idea. They'll try it for a few minutes and they'll think it doesn't feel good and give up on it and then say, it didn't work for me. But you're right. It's not like months and months and months of pain and suffering, and it's not even that bad really. But it is enough to throw us off, you know, especially if we're having a bad day or feeling tired or something. [00:11:50] Speaker B: You know, in the BHAGAVATAM the scripture. Bhagavad. [00:11:56] Speaker A: Bhagavad Gita. [00:11:57] Speaker B: There is a. No, it's called the Bhagavatam. It's different. It's another scripture. Many Cantos and all of that, right? From front to back. It'll be this big. [00:12:10] Speaker A: It's a big one. [00:12:11] Speaker B: It's the stories of Krishna. [00:12:14] Speaker A: So like a Ramayana. So size thing? [00:12:18] Speaker B: No, but different stories. It's not the Mahabharata. [00:12:21] Speaker A: No, but it's the same amount of stories. [00:12:26] Speaker B: No, bigger. [00:12:27] Speaker A: Wow. [00:12:28] Speaker B: Ramayana. Is this okay there, you see the yellow one? That's Ramayana. [00:12:33] Speaker A: It's a whole shelf and a half. Is a kind of. [00:12:37] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a big one. Anyway, in that scripture, there is an image of a caterpillar. I love that image. The image of the caterpillar is the caterpillar is going on to a new leaf. The old leaf is shriveled, right? It's hanging onto a new leaf. And only after it catches hold of the new leaf does it let go of the old leaf. And you go watch any caterpillar. That's how they do it, right? So there's a new leaf. There's an old leaf, shriveled up, old leaf, right? This jump between the old leaf to the new leaf, you could say is the trust that needs to happen or is the discomfort or whatever. That part, right. That part actually is a short period compared to how beautiful the new leaf is and how horrible the old leaf is. That jump is actually a very short time. But we overestimate it and overthink it and think, no, no, no, I'm not going to do it. No, no, this and that, right? The discomfort, whatever we are talking about, we are totally overestimating its impact. It's not as bad. Yes, there is discomfort. I don't want to deny that there is discomfort. Sometimes for me these days, I notice a pattern and I try to change it. And it like taking a week, two weeks, right? It just. I have to work so hard on it. So hard on it. And sometimes more than weeks. But at least I'm working on it, right? And I tell myself, no, it's okay. I can do this. I can change this pattern. And so to really look at the mind and understand that the mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy, and if you don't work with it, it will become your worst enemy. So you might as well make it your best friend. [00:14:51] Speaker A: That's right. It's not going anywhere. And it's either going to curse us or bless Us and we might as well make friends with it because we can't get rid of it. I mean, actually, we were talking before the podcast. There are people, I'm not quite sure what, who don't think thoughts. There's a studies about this. There's a certain small number of people, they don't seem to have this problem, but they still have habits and they still have tendencies, so they're still dealing with their own stuff. I'm just not quite sure what's going on. But let's put that category of unusual people to the side. [00:15:26] Speaker B: We don't care about other people. Right. [00:15:27] Speaker A: I need to. So we have a method here in today's episode on how to reprogram these things. So would you like to go through this and then we can do a practice? [00:15:41] Speaker B: Sure, sure. I want to say something before we do this, right. If it's okay with you. The mind is trainable. You can train your mind. That's what neuroplasticity is, that you can actually train your mind. And so the mind is trainable and you have to train it like you were going to train anything, right? Like you would train a dog or a horse. Right? Because people say the mind is like a horse, right? It's a wild horse going. So, okay, let's say it's a horse. So how would you train a horse or how would you train a dog? You have to train it like that, right? And two, this is very important to understand the mind. There's something in you that is observing the mind, isn't there? There's something in you that's observing the mind. [00:16:44] Speaker A: Otherwise you couldn't see it if it wasn't something watching it. [00:16:47] Speaker B: And so what that means is that you're not the mind. When we say my mind, like I say my hand is. I'm not something I possess, right? It's separate from me. The mind is not me. The mind is a faculty of the soul, just like saskaras and intellect. They are faculties of the soul. And so you have to the. Again, the collapsing of the identity of soul and mind is a big problem. So you have to separate the soul from the mind. And so the way to separate the soul from the mind, the best way to think about the mind is the mind is the messenger of the soul. It gives you messages. It's telling you what's going on in the soul. When you say you want peace of mind, what the soul is saying is the soul is saying, I'm craving peace, but the mind is the one giving you, telling Us, okay? That's the message, right? It's the messenger of the soul. Or in our language, in our Murlis, the mind is like a companion. So you have to, as a gently pull, move it along. As a companion, you have to move it along. Otherwise it's not going to go with you. You can't force the mind. And the other very important thing about the mind is that you have to stay in your swaman, your self respect actually, for the mind to follow you. And the mind is actually quite obedient that way. If you stay in your self respect and you stay, let's say, pick a self respect that you really like. Michael. [00:18:55] Speaker A: I'm an embodiment of love. [00:18:59] Speaker B: You're an embodiment of love. If you really feel it and stay in that self respect, the soul as an embodiment of love, the mind will follow you. The mind is going haywire because I've lost identity of who I am. I'm collapsing my identity with the mind. I'm collapsing my identity with the body. I'm collapsing my identity with relationships, everything, right? And so once I stay that once I know I'm the master and the mind has to follow, it will do that. [00:19:39] Speaker A: Yeah. It is obedient, the mind. I mean, I talk to my mind all the time. And I've realized being harsh with the mind doesn't help. I've given up being harsh. I did that years ago. I'm like, no, it's gonna be all right. Everything's okay, it's okay. And why are you still thinking this thought? There's no need for that. We need to be thinking about these things. It needs to be a little bit like training a dog or. And if you train a dog, you can't kick a dog and train the dog. It's not going to work. Dogs, if you see dog trainers, right, they have loads of treat. They constantly have big bag of treats. They say, roll over and then they give it a treat. Good, good boy. You know, round, round, round, give it a treat. You know, stand on all fours, give it a treat. So it has to be given love and blessings and treats. Jeremy, it needs a bunch of little sweets and. Well, you did such a good job. [00:20:44] Speaker B: Well done. [00:20:45] Speaker A: Very nice. Really. Oh, thank you very much. Thank you very much. So if we say this is stupid, why are you doing this? It's not because then it feels like it's been attacked and we're attacking ourselves in a, in a way because the vibes aren't good when we're sending it. [00:21:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:21:03] Speaker A: So, so self attack and attacking the mind and being ourselves, up and critical. It's not going to work. So it needs to be. And, and we have to be in a position of I'm loving, powerful being, giving the. If I'm like, oh, my mind, oh my God. If I'm looking up at the mind down here, oh my God, this is so dangerous, then I'm not going to be able to master it. But I need to be the king and stand in some power first. And then, then lovingly give it little biscuits, you know, Good job. There you go. Here's another one. Well done. [00:21:39] Speaker B: You know, one of the things I've been doing a lot lately, which is part of the practice we're going to do today, is I just give it one instruction. No negotiation, no criticism. Again and again, the same instruction. For example, mind, go home. And I wait for it to go home. If it doesn't go home, I, I just say again, mind, go home. [00:22:11] Speaker A: For people who don't know what you mean. What do you mean? I know what you mean, but [00:22:18] Speaker B: you explain it better. Go ahead. It could be anything. Mind, be peaceful also. But go ahead and tell us about home. [00:22:24] Speaker A: Yes. So Shirin's talking about the spiritual home, the world of infinite love, infinite peace. So there's the physical world. Beyond the physical world is infinite light. Infinite light, the Brahman, nirvana, spiritual light, infinite peace. So when she says go home, she's telling the mind, go and sit in that infinite light beyond everything. And the mind might be like, no, I'm focused on this other thing. What's going on outside? No, no, no. You have to go to the. You have to expand. [00:23:05] Speaker B: No. Right? You don't negotiate with it. You don't negotiate with it. You don't say anything. This is what I'm telling. I don't say anything to it. I just repeat the instruction. And I Repeat the instruction 20 times if I need to till I'm stable there. I'm not negotiating. I'm not saying, don't do this, don't do that. I just say, no, go home. Doesn't go, go home. Mind, go home. Again, wanders off. Mind, go home. Gently, lovingly, firmly, the same instruction, same instruction. [00:23:54] Speaker A: That's great. I find that it's nice to also talk to the mind like, what is it you're worried about? What is it you're thinking about? Because it has its own opinions about things. And I found that it's mostly wanting to solve problems and make sure everything's okay. That's its main goal. Ultimately, and so sometimes there's something bothering the mind because I think it's the mind and the heart, right? They're connected so that there's something bothering it. And so what's. What's going on? What's not working out here? And if I write it down, I get a piece of paper and write it down, then. Then it can calm down and do what I want. But it has a hard time letting it go if. Because it feels like it's neglecting its duties on some level to just drop it all. That's been my experience. [00:24:55] Speaker B: Right. [00:24:56] Speaker A: So I find if I do that little process first, then if I tell it to do something else, it will do it much quicker because it's not got this. It's like. It's like a computer program that's been programmed to do something and we're saying do this other thing, but it has a program running in the background. And unless that's paused or stopped, it sort of reverts back. [00:25:25] Speaker B: There's other things also that I do. I really like what you're saying about writing down, but there are other things also, right? One of the things is understanding that the mind is my companion and treating it like my companion, not like my enemy, not like an errant child. Right? Like my companion, how I would treat my companion. I'm treating my mind that way. You know, come along. You know, the companion says, no, no, no, no, I don't want to come along. I said, okay, let's talk about this, right? What's it. What's going on? And then again, mind, let's go along, right? Whatever. And then, no, no, tell me what's going on and let's go. And so. But the treating the mind as a companion also is very, very helpful. [00:26:26] Speaker A: Yeah. It's respectful because it is our companion. And like, how I see the mind is that even seeing, physically seeing is in the mind, because I can't. Because this universe doesn't look like what I think it looks like. This is my mind interpreting signals. So the world I'm seeing is in my mind. So there's. One is the thoughts, and the other is the actual whole screen. The whole screen of perception is in the mind. The senses are in the mind. Because I might, for example, go to the store and swear that I saw someone I know, and it turns out I didn't see them, but I really thought I saw them. How is that possible? Because my mind projected stuff onto the scene that wasn't really there. You know, so literally, it's our constant companion, our Dreams is our mind. What we see is our mind. The whole thing is happening in the mind, isn't it? So if there wasn't any mind, everything will be black and dark and there'll be nothing. So hurry from the mind. Why would we be without the mind? [00:27:43] Speaker B: Right. You know, one other thing, I was thinking about the reins. If it's a horse, if the mind is a horse, what are the reins? And the reins could be depending on the situation. Say, I'm hurt, I'm hurt by something. At that point, the reins should be love, not, you know, discipline. There has to be a lot of love. You know, mind the rein. You pull the rein of love and let's say I'm worried, then you pull the rein of faith. I have faith it'll all work out well. Right. You pull that rein. So each of the reins, like, let's say there are 50 reins around you and depending on what the situation is, you're pulling that rein with the mind. Let's say I totally being judgmental about someone at that point, I need the reign of compassion. Just be compassionate. I don't need to sit in judgment of people. Let's say the AC is not working for the, you know, after spending so much money on it, the AC is not working. Then I need the reign of tolerance. Right. Just tolerance. And so each of these reins, like, if we see the situation and see how the mind is working, then I know which rein I need to use to pull it back so that it doesn't go galloping away. [00:29:36] Speaker A: It's very true. Yeah. It is custom for the situation, whatever is going on. Yeah. We can't have one. One thing we do again and again and again in every context. It's not going to work. But it definitely needs to be done lovingly and consistently long enough, you know, and also the tone of voice that we speak to ourselves with, it should be sweet and nice because I've talked to people who have these tyrannical voices in their mind. And I've said, I remember one person I was talking to, she was saying, there's this. It sounds terrible. And I said, who? What is the sound? And does it remind you of anyone you actually know? And she sat there and listened to her thoughts and she was like, my God, my mother's voice is in my head. Like she's. Her mind is talking to her in the tone of voice of her nagging, critical mother. Like this. And no wonder she was feeling extremely disturbed because the mother's tone was very unpleasant growing up. And now it's in her head, it's like, that's absolutely. That's hell. That's living in hell. So I had her change the tone to a sweet, loving, kind tone. And she felt profoundly relaxed because there's not this annoying voice, you know? So. So one is, what are we saying to our mind? But the other is, how are we speaking to the mind? What's the sound of the voice? And what's the sound? Because we're talking to the mind, the mind's talking back to us. And in both cases, there's a tone, there's an energy behind it. So I often say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, don't do it like that. Do it like this. Then we don't do that anymore. And so it's. But I don't mind. I can be firm but not harsh, [00:31:41] Speaker B: right? Right. The mind, working with the mind is everything, is everything. These days for me, I feel, oh, my God, this is my life's work job now. If I want to be liberated in life, this is what I need to do. So we have several techniques, right? Several things we can do with the mind. But I want us to leave with one thing that you can try. You don't have to try the 10 other things. One thing is this. First notice. Notice what's happening in the mind, right? Notice the waste thought, notice the worry. Notice that. That's the step number one you notice. And step number two is acknowledge it. It's happening. Okay, I'm worried. And it's okay, I'm worried. You know, let me just be with it and not get too bent out of shape. Yes, I'm worried. And let me separate myself from this worry and say, okay, worry, you go there, mind you come here and we are good. And step number three is you give it one command. Just one command. Mind be peaceful. And you have to repeat this command about 20 times. So the first two times, the mind won't hear it. It'll go off. Mind, be peaceful. Again. It will go off again. You say, mind be peaceful. Don't get upset, don't get angry. Don't make it a thing about, oh, my mind is so horrible. I can't do, I can't meditate, none of those stuff. Just one instruction again and again. You just repeat, don't negotiate, don't do anything. You keep repeating very gently, very lovingly, again and again and again. And that really works because I've been working on this. That really works. [00:34:12] Speaker A: That's beautiful. What's been your experience doing this? Can you give an Example, [00:34:24] Speaker B: It's almost like my one thing is a little more complicated than just one thought. It's five different things, what we call the five forms. And so it's almost like I'm practicing so much of it that I wake up with that now anything happens, I just default to it. Now I default to that pattern, the new pattern that's so liberating, so liberating that situations and people don't have that power over me. I mean, knock on wood, you never know with, you know, with Maya these days, but it feels very liberating. [00:35:13] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So I know what you mean when you wake up, because you've done it enough times, it just goes, it's in the background and it comes back without even trying. So the first step is noticing. Just noticing whatever you're thinking. And then you acknowledge, okay, this is actually happening. And then you have a powerful thought of some kind or a drill. And then you just keep doing it again and again and again when it goes off track. Is that right? Four things. [00:35:45] Speaker B: That's it? Yeah. [00:35:46] Speaker A: So why don't we do a practice. I'm going to do a two step drill, which is something we've talked about before, which is what we're going to get the mind to do is to become aware that we're spiritual beings. Point of light. And then we're going to go into the home. Shireen was talking about the infinite light. Imagine there's like this golden light everywhere on the outside of the universe. You can imagine that there's this whole world and then on the, on beyond it, on a different dimension behind everything is Brahman or Nirvana, the soul world, the world of light, where it's the bigger spiritual power behind everything on another dimension. The implicit order, rather than explicit what is behind everything. So this, you can imagine it as golden, infinitely golden, red, pink sunset. Like an infinite sunset. So first step is notice whatever you're thinking right now, notice your mind. And acknowledge whatever is coming up, whatever it is, just accepting it as it is, perfectly fine, it is what it is. And then become mind. Tell your mind, mind, become aware that I am a spiritual being. See yourself, see a point of light. See a shining star, infinite peace eternal. See the original self. And then go beyond this physical world into the world of infinite light and peace. Following in infinite peace, completely free, without any thoughts. And then come back here, become a point of light again. And then go back into the light, into the golden red sunset, Infinite peace. And one last time, become aware that you're a point eternal. And then go back into that light, golden, beautiful light. And if any other thoughts come, you just do it again and again. So you notice the thoughts, acknowledge whatever else you're thinking, whatever is going on. And then you command your mind, just become aware of a point of light, eternal light, eternal self. And then go into the soul world, the infinite love, infinite light beyond. And if there's any other thoughts you notice, then we'll do it one last time. Noticing whatever's coming up, acknowledging your mind, whatever you're thinking, whatever's going on. And then order the mind. I just want you to focus on the eternal original self. I am a point of light. And then go into the home, the soul world of constant silence and peace and freedom as a point of light. And then just coming back to the now. So there we have it. Simple little practice. And then you give the mind some chocolate. Yay. Well done. You're so wonderful. Congratulations. Good for you. Give me lots of little snacks. You did such a good job. You did such a good job. Well done. Well done, well done. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Yay. So we have a special blessing to finish off our. [00:41:28] Speaker B: Yes. Blessing. This is God's blessing for you. Appreciation. Discovering the positive in other people and situations has become a part of who you are and has changed you. Uncovering your essence of kindness. You feel a sense of contentment from this simple yet powerful practice. [00:42:01] Speaker A: Beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. So thank you everyone for your beautiful presence, for listening to this session. Hopefully this is been helpful. To deal with the mind, we have to replace the current thinking with something else over and over again with lots and lots of love. Try it out. Practice, practice, practice. Practice makes perfect. And if you feel discomfort, don't worry about it. Just come back again and again and again. It doesn't last that long, really and truly. And let us know what you think. Have a beautiful day and we'll talk to you very soon. Thank you, Shireen, and many blessings. [00:42:41] Speaker B: Thank you, Michael.
